A Field Trip to Özyeğin University

A Field Trip to Özyeğin University

A team of four members from BTU SFL Quality and Accreditation Committee visited the School of Foreign Languages (ScOLa) at Özyeğin University on December 6, 2019, Friday.

This shared social experience provided an extremely valuable opportunity to explore various themes regarding the EAQUALS accreditation process with Inst. Nergis UYAN, the Director of ScOLa, and Inst. Dr. Serkan ARAS, the Undergraduate English Programme Coordinator at ScOLa. This fruitful visit was aligned with our accreditation activities and it aimed to bring a new insight from an institution with extensive accreditation experience.

We would like to thank Macmillan Publishing for the organization of this field trip. We also owe to special thanks to Inst. Nergis UYAN and Inst. Serkan ARAS both for hosting us at their ScOLa and for sharing their experiences within the scope of the EAQUALS accreditation process. Finally, we are grateful to our Quality and Accreditation Committee Team Members, Inst. Mustafa SARIOĞLU, Assistant Director of BTU SFL, Inst. Aytül KANAT TUTUŞAN, Testing Office Coordinator, Elvan ŞENTÜRK, Level 1 Coordinator of Curriculum Office, and Miranda KARJAGDIU ÇOLAK, CPD Coordinator for their time and effort to make this visit happen.
