Our University’s School of Foreign Languages held a meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University’s School of Foreign Languages to prepare for EAQUALS accreditation.

In a recent EAQUALS accreditation preparation meeting, our School shared information and experiences with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University’s SFL on the steps taken and to be taken to raise the quality standards of our school to an international level and to enhance the quality of language education.

During the meeting, BTU SFL shared the insights gained through its own accreditation journey, providing the RTE team with important information and details about the stages of the process in a comprehensive presentation.

The meeting was attended by our School Director, Lecturer Dr. Meral ÖZTÜRK, Assistant Directors Lecturer Dr. Caner GÜREL, Lecturer Pınar KETANCI, and our School’s Quality and Accreditation Officer Lecturer Dr. Miranda KARJAGDIU ÇOLAK, alongside Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University’s School of Foreign Languages Director Dr. Lecturer Member Yıldırım ÖZSEVGEÇ, Assistant Directors, and all academic and administrative staff.

The meeting discussed key topics to be considered in the accreditation process. These topics highlighted the Importance of the Accreditation Process, Compliance with EAQUALS Standards, Teacher Training and Professional Development, Student Satisfaction and Feedback, and the Internal Evaluation Process.

BTU SFLs Director and Lecturer Dr. Meral ÖZTÜRK emphasized that the EAQUALS accreditation process is not merely a goal but also a significant opportunity for the long-term development of Schools of Foreign Languages. The meeting concluded with a question and answer session about the process and with mutual good wishes.
