BTU’s Digital Language Lab (DLL) Project Progresses into Second Phase with Ongoing Monthly Meetings

The Digital Language Lab (DLL) project, coordinated by the School of Foreign Languages at Bursa Technical University (BTU), is steadily advancing following its successful kick-off meeting hosted in Turkey earlier this year. This Erasmus+ KA2 initiative aims to enhance digital competence, curriculum alignment, and language education practices across partner institutions in Europe.

Currently, the project is in its second work package phase, focusing on the development of detailed level maps for each participating institution’s languages. These level maps are designed to align learning objectives, skill descriptors, and proficiency milestones in a clear and structured manner. Once completed, they will serve as the foundation for a shared digital syllabus to be implemented in the next stage of the project.

To ensure smooth coordination, partners have been meeting monthly to exchange updates, provide feedback, and align their outputs. These meetings are instrumental in maintaining momentum, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality results.

BTU’s project team has taken an active lead in this phase, contributing both academic expertise and project management support. Their role has been central in shaping the structure and content of the level maps, while also upholding the project’s commitment to innovation, accessibility, and impact in digital language education.

As the DLL project moves toward its next phase, developing a unified, digitally-supported syllabus, it continues to set an example for cross-border collaboration and future-oriented educational reform.
