The Director of the School of Foreign Languages at Bursa Technical University, Dr. Caner Gürel, participated in the Oxford Nexus 2025: Aligned with Growth event held on 29 November 2025 and hosted by Istanbul Commerce University in collaboration with Oxford University Press.

This year’s program placed special emphasis on quality assurance processes that support sustainable improvement in schools of foreign languages. Through interactive activities, participants explored the adaptation of assessment approaches to current needs, the development of an institutional quality culture, and emerging trends in accreditation processes. In this respect, the event provided a strategic learning environment that strengthened our school’s perspective on quality assurance.

The knowledge and insights gained throughout the event directly contribute to enhancing our school’s assessment, accreditation, and institutional development processes, supporting our goal of aligning educational practices with international standards.
