Our assistant director, Lecturer Dr. Eda Nur Özcan, attended the professional development event titled “Oxford Professional Development: English Language Teaching Management”, organized by Oxford Publishing Press in Çeşme, İzmir, between 15–17 May 2026. Within the scope of the event, current approaches in the field of English language teaching management were addressed. The program particularly focused on the pedagogically appropriate integration of artificial intelligence technologies into English language teaching processes, the key characteristics of a high-quality language school in line with international standards, and accreditation processes within the framework of institutional quality assurance. During the seminars and workshops delivered by expert speakers in the field, knowledge and experience were shared on the evaluation of English preparatory and language education programs, the analysis of program outcomes, the identification of indicators of compliance with quality standards, and the planning of preparatory work for accreditation processes.
