On Friday, October 23, 2026, Lecturers Burcu Ünyılmaz, Ceren Şentürk Zan, and Dr. Magdalena Keskin, accompanied by their students from School of Foreign Languages, visited the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV) as part of the activities organized by our University's Community Engagement and Continuity Coordination Office.
During the visit, participants received information about LÖSEV's social responsibility initiatives, the support it provides to children with leukemia and their families, its workshops, and its operating principles.
As part of the hands-on activities, our lecturers and students actively participated in volunteer work by helping prepare handmade dolls donated to LÖSEV, contributing to efforts aimed at supporting children with leukemia.
The visit, which aimed to foster social awareness and a sense of volunteerism, provided students with an opportunity to gain firsthand experience of social responsibility initiatives and recognize the importance of solidarity and community engagement.
The Community Engagement and Continuity Coordination Office would like to express its sincere gratitude to LÖSEV for hosting this meaningful event.
